Before the wedding ceremony

Photography at the house where the bride is getting ready before the weddings is a beautiful way to start a set of images. I photograph the dress hanging up, details of flowers, shoes and jewellery, and excited girls looking forward to the big day.

Even if I am covering bridal preparations, I always time it so I arrive at the ceremony venue approx an hour before the ceremony starts. This enables me to get shots of the groom and the lads, guests arriving and the venue set up. Then of course I am there for the arrival of the bride.

The more photos that can be taken beforehand the better, so to get the bride and bridesmaids on arrival is a good idea. Once finished outside I position myself in the best place inside to get a gorgeous shot of the bride walking in, and the emotion on her face.
